When it comes to choosing which roof type you want, it is important to understand the differences between roof types. There are several from which you may choose:
Over the last 53 years we have heard just about every question a customer could ask when we show up at their homes. This list has been compiled to assist you in answering the most common questions.
When you sign your contract, you will be asked for two contact phone numbers. This is for the purpose of contacting you regarding scheduling the work to be completed and any other issues or concerns that could arise.
There are times when contacting you prior to arrival may not be a possibility as many things impact our schedule, such as:
However, we will make every effort possible to contact you prior to our arrival. If you have specific scheduling needs, please make sure to let us know and we will work with you.
Possibly. It is sometimes impossible to discover every condition on your home. This is especially true when it comes to replacement of rotted or deteriorated wood decking. You may incur extra necessary charges to replace rotted wood. We do not recommend that any rotted wood be covered up.
Like many other construction projects, there is a lot of equipment needed and a lot of debris handled. It is impossible to guarantee that the yard or driveway will not be affected. We will be careful but some damage could occur.
No. We are fully equipped to complete your project without your being there. Remember, this is noisy work; you may not want to be home.
Sometimes a ceiling or wall can crack. This is especially true on cathedral ceilings. In many cases this is unavoidable. If this happens we recommend that you notify your insurance company.
Absolutely. Working in the winter is a challenge. Sometimes debris gets covered in newly fallen snow. When the snow melts, debris shows up. Just call our office (920-766-7904) and we will promptly send someone to clean up.
Refer to your contract. Typically payment is due on two occasions. There is usually a 30% down payment with the remaining balance due upon completion of the work.
How many workers will be doing my project?
It depends on how complicated the job is. Our crew size varies from 2-5 workers.
We are very careful when doing complete replacements of roofs. It is impossible to absolutely guarantee that no leaks will occur. The weather in Wisconsin is too unpredictable and sometimes leaks cannot be avoided. We will not tear off the roof and leave it completely unprotected. We always install new underlayment felt or cover the area with a tarp before we stop for the day. In most cases this is all that is needed. If you need additional assurances, please discuss this with your Project Manager.
Our workmen are instructed not to do unauthorized additional work. Please contact our office immediately and we will make every effort to comply with your request. This is important for your protection, as well as ours.
